Both sold as part of buying the Grenadier.

Previous to the above, I drove LR109 Series IIIs and FC101s while dressed in green.

How many of you have ever owned a Land Rover product? It can be a 1948 Series I, a 2023 Range Rover Evoque, or anything inbetween. Please answer yes or no and, if you would like to share which models you have owned, please share in the comments.
Three Defender, Five Range Rover, one Discovery, one series III

Series II built 59 registered 60...not quite for the purist but all of the changes that I have done are Land Rover parts...RR power steering...300tdi...Series III gearbox...Disco wheels...plus an Aussie PBR brake booster...I took the picture at my mate's farm on the Sunshine Coast Queensland...This is my daily drive now and until the Grenadier arrives...it will stay in the family ;)

2000 Disco 2 Petrol

Met a bloke on the CREB track last year, he asked how did it go? I told him it was absolutely fantastic off road, climbs almost anything. He then asked, would you get another LR. I said no, the the maintenance drives me insane. Then I remarked, have you heard of the Ineos Grenadier? He hadn’t.

Reactions: Max
Tomb Raider 90, 110 TD5, Disco 3, Range Sport 4.2 SC, 110 Puma, RR 3.7 TDV8, RR 50th anniversary 4.4 TDV8, LR4 and a 90 Puma 2.2. The TD5’s and LR4 were the most reliable. The Range Rovers…not so much.

Still miss them but LR’s pricing politics have become ridiculous and the vehicles fragile. Unless you spend the price of the vehicle again on reinforcing parts of the vehicle for off-road purposes you can bring it in after every trip to repair it’s underbody :( JMHO

Now very happy with the Grenadier (at least from a sturdiness and mechanical point of view, software…that’s still something that needs some serious fixing but I’m convinced they’ll get it right).
Forget to insert some imagerie 😉

I’d be interested in a few venn diagrams.
So, of everyone buying a grenadier, how many have not owned a (real) defender
of those, are most either American (ie couldnt get one) or were tragically interested, but never managed to fit one in…

if there is a remainder at all, does including disco and rangie cover the U set completely, or just nearly completely😆

Never owned one and never had any interest in getting one

Series III. Cracking vehicle.
Disco 3. Absolute dog.
Freelander. Why?
Disco 4. Love it but it’s getting expensive!

Hoping the Grenadier brings back the good memories of the Series III. But with some comfort. And speed. And air conditioning.
