i would assume that this will be an easy endeavor. There is a thread somewhere. I will post the link if I find it.
I think the issue is the costs for the Ineos parts. There are threads on this subject on this forum somewhere.i would assume that this will be an easy endeavor.
i just need the extra help to get in the vehicle. currently, im using the steering wheel to pull myself up, which is not ideal. You'll need to find a dealer in a RHD country that is willing to ship you the "passenger side" A Pillar trim
Search away.i would assume that this will be an easy endeavor.
I don't recall. Were the PTO rear handles overhead? I have used a set of these for a while. Pretty good positioning to help little people climb into the back seat.I have asked IA to put this together as a kit that they can offer. The same with the rear handles that were on the PTO vehicles.
Fingers crossed someone does this, I’d definitely be interested.
This is pretty standard practice for virtually all brands at this point, so it is unlikely that it will change. From having to deal with acquiring special order parts from Europe for vehicles in the past (I spent just shy of 2 decades in the European automotive aftermarket/service world), it is anything but simple and straight forward, and usually just not worth it for the brand/dealer to get involved unfortunatelyI was told by my dealer that Ineos will not provide parts in the U.S. from rest-of-world vehicles.
There isn't, the airbags are the same on all vehicles IA make. This has been discussed previouslyThe comrehensive LHD A-pillar handle thread
As the LHD grab handle for the driver seems really important to some of you. I give some hints here: A-pillar left with driver airbag: A-pillar right with passenger airbag: The trim from the passenger side. (unsure if the metall comes included with the trim): The handle from the...www.theineosforum.com
looks like there is an airbag issue that is a concern…
I am in if you get someone to do it, without sliders or steps this handle would be really nice to have.I have asked IA to put this together as a kit that they can offer. The same with the rear handles that were on the PTO vehicles.
Fingers crossed someone does this, I’d definitely be interested.
I have to reply (i know i shouldn't)...I say to each his own. To me it's needed regardless of other options.I would find a handle in this position an awkward hindrance.
I just grab the gutter and leap in. No touchy steering wheel.
You did say "We ALL want, No NEED"I have to reply (i know i shouldn't)...I say to each his own. To me it's needed regardless of other options.
We all need an Aussie friend! I would totally be down if we could get the grab handle for the Driver side as well.We ALL want, No NEED, a grab handle on the driver side. I'm not sure price is important; after all it's a $90K vehicle already! I was told by my dealer that Ineos will not provide parts in the U.S. from rest-of-world vehicles. I hope this changes. I looked under the A-pillar plastic and it looks like it should just bolt on.
