General Gurgeling sound behind dash?

What causes the gurgeling sound behind the dash?
Is it the aircon fluid?
It sounds like there is air in the system to me. Am i right with my assumption that the air-condition is missing fluid?

You can not be sure which one it might be:
Till I recognised that it was the sound of a Gremlin’s stomach I thought about the ac fluid as well. Maybe there’s some air in the higher parts of the system which is flushed away after the engine is started.
After some time without action the air finds its way upwards again to be ready for the next gurgling sound.
But that’s been a bad assumption as it is a Gremlin for sure!
