Gun Metal Gray Color??

So do we think the color started out as one name and then they changed names? I am trying to figure out how early or late of a build date it would be. I guess it may be on the door jamb?

With that VIN it is a new build
 
When I saw the thread title, I thought they might be producing this prototype color:

I have a Donny Grey with contrast black roof. In bright light the difference is very noticeable but not so much in overcast conditions.
A couple more pics of Donny Grey in differing light. Again, with contrasting black roof.

That would make sense. The Donny was pulled out in the middle of the parking lot and the ‘gun metal gray’ was in between two units.
The color has always been and continues to be Donny Grey.... The window stickers use more generic color names for all the vehicles
