I know that we all like rumours. So this could start a few of a few.

When production restarts after a few months break in January, will they have incorporated some redesigns of the vehicle? My bet is at least the following:

1) A reduction in the RHD hump, by incorporating a redesigns plastic overmat.
2) A redesigned steering box.
3) Towbar as standard.
4) A V8 option (well maybe not).

None of the above...

#3, at least for US vehicles is partially true... the MY25 vehicles will have the electronic control module pre-installed/configured in the vehicle, but will still have the wiring to the towbar and the towbar itself as an option

An opportunity wasted on No 1.

I should have said a price reduction, as the second hand prices in the UK have bombed.
Are the lower prices not partly driven by the bag-of-bones preconfigures still being off loaded? Maybe I am being naive but once they are ditched, hopefully we see a correction back up.

At least here in North America, 2025 prices were announced months ago, approximately a 5% rise in pricing

I don't think it's entirely the "bag-of-bones". For the US market, Field, Trial and Bases available, new and used at a discount.

On another thread, @Skydance (in the UK) said "Makes me cry when I look at how much mines worth on Auto trader. Secondhand ones are an absolute bargain." (ref: https://www.theineosforum.com/threa...sex-uk-dealer.12417347/page-2#post-1333316800)
Not certain if those were Field or Trials but I suspect its a smattering of everything.

Inventory on hand for the last quarter has been pretty much the same. Maybe people are waiting for the 25's before making a decision.
If tariffs don't hit before 25 models arrive it might make for some good deals.... maybe under 60 for a base?

@Trialmaster agree with #1 (price reduction). Would also like to see them ditch the one piece center console panel in favor of something more modular.

And that's before the real possibility of tariffs on European Autos a month hence.
The pick up already has a 20% tariff. Keep in mind most parts for vehicles are made outside the US, so tariffs will hit USA car manufactures.

You write confidently, what position within the company do you occupy, or are you just a connoisseur of the brand?

I was a driver for the US PTO2 tour and through relationships gained during that time, as well as those built through this forum, feel confident to mention the things I do. I'm not (nor was I ever directly) employed by Ineos

Just making a guess MY25 will most likely be the same as MY24 with the only changes being IA catching up on any components missed on the earlier production MY23/24 builds. I think we’d be doing pretty good if MY25 came out with the most common software gripes fixed and a plan to update the software on MY24 vehicles. Considering what IA just went though with Recaro and the work involved simply restarting the factory and supplier pipelines they already have their hands full.

I certainly want to remain optimistic that they keep making incremental improvements which can be back dated to earlier vehicles whenever possible so fingers crossed.

Complete removal of RHD footwell intrusion, redesign of seat and pedal alignments, fix narrowness of both tilt and reach, decrease center console width by at least 40mm each side, steering stabaliser redesign so it does not hit exposed tree roots!

My guess is that 25 will be very similar to the 24 model but with just a change to how the dual battery models work ie the start battery is for essential services and the second battery is for all the accessories. Having said that i would love to be wrong and see a lot of changes, particularly to the software and functions. Mechanical is good, electrical not so much.

I think you’re the first person I’ve heard ask for a narrower center console.

Maybe it’s just an American thing, but coming from a full size pickup (F150) I feel the center console is extremely small and wished they could make it larger.

Likewise, I'd love a wider console like my Tundra had... Then again, I also have no issues with the seats, pedal alignment, etc
