GRUNT: The Grenadier User Network

Ok guys, the network evolves :-)

We have now some dealers and seven members around Europe and the US west coast.
Still missing Australia here?

It's really exciting to see where the colleagues come from :-)

Current database is attached.

BTW: You can just delete the grunt.csv entirely from within  your googleearth desktop (at least on PCs) and import the new one.

Ok, will come with next batch. ;-)

Some news: I have made a small forms to enter your data. It is not publicly visible on my homepage, but here is the link. I will get an email and have thus a bit less work due to automatic processing which I'll implement.

There is nothing stored anywhere on the server, this just sends an eMail to me with the contents you have entered.
Please note: There is no check of your input, but I'll inform about errors here.

See the link in the frist posting.

Mark, your's is ok, you don't need to enter it there.

Hi Mark, this is a bit scary.
I used to work about 25 years ago just down the road from you - where the old Rural Water Corporation buildings used to be - just next to Toorak Train Station.  They have ripped them down now.

Yes - I am only 600m further up Malvern road.

I remember those buildings too. I think they went about 5-6 years ago I think and built all those apartment towers.

Australia has now two representatives from Victoria. :-)

@emax (What do YOU know about "Wennel"? )

They are 100 feet away from you. ?

Yes, I forgot it's on the map. ;-)

You should know, that"Wennel"is a legend in our village. His name is in fact "Roland", but everybody calls him Wennel. He is now now well 75 years old and has retired, but in the early 60ies he was the first one to have an ice-cream stand 100 Kilometers around.

Today, the shop is run by younger guys, but the ice cream of Wennel was the best I have ever tasted.

I was completely baffled when you talked about him. ;-)

Latest.

@amglounge: A forbidden comma (in the'Optional Note') broke the automatic build.
I've removed the comma.

Hi baders,

I have made a very simple entry forms to enter the data. See the link in the first posting.

For the two entries, just call the address twice.

For the dealership, select type 'dealership'.

Thank you!

This posting is obsolete as the current version is now always accessible from the links in the first posting.

KMZ Update.

Done

Thank you, is in the current version.

I've now added links to the first post of the thread.
You will always find the latest downloads there.

They provide the GRUNT version information, the grunt.kmz file and a link to the entry form for workshops, dealers and to add yourself.

Congrats!  ;-)

I have updated my previous postings to meet the current status.

Hi Paul/PT70,

you had a comma in your name which is not allowed and caused an error.

I have corrected it. It's now ok.

The first New Zealand member! ?
