Super nice stuff. The team at GrenX are legit, I visited whem while I was in Melbourne a few weeks back. Id totally get this setup for solo driving.
A mosquito net for the safari windows and all is well.
It was a pleasure meeting you mate. We just made some updates to get some additional length to the bed platform so we now have 1900mm /74.8”.

I assume you added a hinge the front part so you can make the bed portion shorter? This let's move the seats rearward for driving and forward for more space when sleeping?

Hello fellow owners, I just wanted to show you some photos of our GrenX Grenadier Drawer system we designed with integrated fridge and double bed platform. I hope you like it. Shipping Australia Wide. We are also working on getting a water storage tank custom made to fit above the wheel arch void where we should be able to fit 20L.
Excellent build! A few questions:

1) I can see a support between the seat back and the platform in one of the pictures from the side. Is that support how you keep the hinge from bending when your body weight is on the board? Do you have additional pictures of this? Where does this store when the platform is folded?
2) Do you have any additional pictures of the head platform when in the folded position? I would like to see how that is done.
3) How do you attach the support on the back of the front seat for the head board? I'm curious if you use additional support beyond the hinge.
4) What is the depth of your main box?

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Keith

Yes correct you can shorten the system by simple folding it over so you can drive without having to remove the bed platform

Yes there is a total of 5 Supports underneath supporting the weight of the bed system and keeping it nice and flat.
