If I remember correctly, it represents your number when you signed up for the forum. So Emax was the 238 person on the forum.

Stu made a plaque out of it which, with this unique number, creates the Global Grenadier Number plaque. Since this forum is currently the only Grenadier forum on the planet, the GG number is a unique membership number of the global Grenadier owner community.

It is not something you must have, but for me it's a nice community badge.

That's not a patch but rather a metal badge with 3M tape on the back so it can be applied to your truck, toolbox, or anywhere that's nice and flat.
