Has anyone heard information on when the first PRODUCTION models for delivery roll out of the factory (regardless of country where they are sold) when does unit 1 arrive?

Unit 1 will be in the UK to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, that's the only definite we have.

Considering the early builds Sept/Oct have been moved back upto one month I can only guess that first builds would be end of October now for delivery November/December?

We should have three demo's by the end of the year but will start with only one. As for spec, pretty much every box would have been ticked on these cars!!!

Absolutely no chance to start with, as if that was the case it would take nearly a year to get through everyone!! Once we are running with three demonstrators and we've got through all the test drives for people who have ordered and the people who have put a reservation fee down we will be able to start looking at longer test drives.

But to start with it will be extremely strict on the time length people can drive them for as you wouldn't want to be waiting months for a drive would you. I know that sounds a bit harsh but this will be a very difficult few months to start with trying to keep everyone happy with having a drive in the car.

@Davman this may be different up and down the country and in different parts of the world, but here at Chester we have had massive interest in this car and a lot of orders so it will need to be managed very well.

I'm thinking what you will end up with if you do that:

alloys on the front, steelies on the rear; rear window one side, steel panel the other; just one safari window, one leather seat, one fabric...not sure on petrol/diesel split.

Today I received the information, that at least in Germany the first Grenadiers will be delivered to customers in January.
However, INEOS is planning a media-effective delivery of selected vehicles before Christmas, so there will be a few vehicles under the Christmas tree. This will then be used for promotional purposes.

It was once announced that the first Grenadiers would be delivered to customers before Christmas this year. These are surely all customers who do not yet know this forum. That's why we didn't hear about it.

I think IA underestimated the supply situation with components. A few weeks ago I mentioned the critical components that are making life difficult for production in Hambach. As long as these are not available, there will be no vehicle ready for delivery. INEOS Automotive is understandably very reluctant to provide information.

But that is not only the case here. I have been waiting for an appointment for the new Range Rover since late summer. I have been told that they want to procure an appropriate demonstration vehicle. Unfortunately, no further information has been received to date. This is not acceptable from my point of view either.
Therefore, the day before yesterday I sent friendly Christmas greetings to the managing director of Land Rover and mentioned in passing that they need not make any further efforts on my behalf.
So, again, communication is no different. And I don't think other car companies do it any better either.

Nevertheless, I wish us all all the best for the New Year.
Surely I can collect my Grenadier at the end of January/beginning of February, as announced by INEOS.
