"Gear box error" message

Can someone with a Grenadier confirm that this bolt exists on the transmission?

I ask because included with the factory tool kit is an offset wrench specifically to place the vehicle into a roll-able neutral state, and the method in the video is much easier to get to
In the online manual there is a different set up there is a nut on the side of the gearbox

Exactly, this is what I have seen used; never the one shown in the video

@anand. The video is for a BMW b58 with zf 8 speed transmission. I mention in my post that the manual will superseded the video but that the video might provide insight on where to look to put the car in neutral.

This is mine

Oh dear....apologize my question, my newest car ist a very basic one from 2013, my daily drivers are from 2002 and 1971. Is that all really necessary (check bonnet, doors, this and that....) to get a modern car to move? My last automatic was a Mercedes C280 with an automatic gearbox. Pushing the brake was all you need to do to get out of P. And that was realized by a small pin, which was moved by an electric magnet, when you pressed the brake pedal.

Hopefully my cars will drive until I can't anymore....

Status update: Mystery solved!!
It appears that the connection between the alarm remote control and the car wasn’t properly installed so the car went into immobilization mode when we unlocked it. Apparently that means the motor starts but the gears are blocked. Am not sure if this is typical for the alarmsystem our dealer in Holland has installed. Might be worthwhile to check for your Grenadiers!
Thanks for your tips and support. Happy driving 😃

That's a relief for you!
The vehicle already comes with a "competent" alarm/immobiliser. A more sophisticated version of the alarm was standard equipment on early Fieldmasters and Trialmasters.
Both versions are installed at the factory during assembly.
Is your dealer in Holland installing a different alarm?

Correct! Unclear to us why they changed it

Very strange, you've not asked the dealer to add any security features?
