G900 Pro Installation Video! Definitely Helps!

It is an interesting video, but there is no need to remove the overhead panel, and you can wire it to the OBD2 fuse, which is permanent.

I bought the wolfbox g900 Pro and will have it professionally installed. Do I need a ball mount adaptor from Amazon or anything not included in the box? I’ve read differing options here.

IIRC it depends on the kit you purchased as some offer differing lengths of wire.

As for the ball mount from 67design, which allows you to remove/replace the OEM mirror with the Wolf mirror vs. strapping the Wolf mirror to the OEM mirror w/o removing it, the decision is optional.

Strapping is what Wolf gives you in the kit and works fine but the 67 design is IMO a cleaner install….but you're gonna pay for the “improvement”

We have OEM bracket here.
If you want to install our OEM bracket but worry about the compatibility, we offer a universal solution.
  1. Choose #1 bracket, and leave a note "need a metal piece" when check out.
  2. Remove the original bracket, including the plastic part and the metal part on the windshield.
  3. Use strong glue and paste the metal piece (flat side) to the windshield.
  4. Slide in the OEM bracket and drive the screw tightly.

Hey guys. I have a concern based off of some videos I’ve seen. I viewed a video of the camera recording forward driving and it looks like it’s capturing a chunk of the radar/module box on the windscreen. This particular video was not utilizing the strap.

Is this something thats occurring as a result of poor installation, or is this just a design issue and how the wolfbox lands when installed.

I have the 67 designs mount and the upper right corner of the dashcam is blocked by that big box. It doesnt bother me but I could see how it might be concerning.

An adapter to offset the mirror left by less than an inch would fix the issue. I havent even looked at the forward facing view in a month so I can't offhand remember exactly how much the camera box intrudes I'm sure it's not the entire vertical span of the dashcam view. I'll try to download an image later today.
