# Similar thread "Roof Outlet Fuses" post #4Bump? Anyone???
Sorry but I can't recall who posted this...Bump? Anyone???
Excellent thank you and thank you @DCPU
Hi Doc if the rated current for the light bar circuit iii 25 A isn't that fuse a slightly higher rating i.e 30A?????Most of this information is in the Fuses thread here. That image is the relevant one. It is a 25 Amp Mini fuse.
There is no fuse diagram for that fuse box, to my knowledge, only a picture which was annotated by Jean Mercier.
I believe the INEOS LED Lightbar is below 25 amps, so they probably think it is OK.Hi Doc if the rated current for the light bar circuit iii 25 A isn't that fuse a slightly higher rating i.e 30A?????
@TheDocAUS @DCPU @Jean Mercier where is this fuse box? Is it hidden under the plastic cover in the battery compartment?

Excellent thank you.Sits next to the starter battery.. perhaps Jean's finger and who has cut an access.. maybe dcpu's...? both owners boldly going where no man has gone before.... and who did we say designed this part again?

Meddling is one thing, doing basic field maintenance and repairs like changing a fuse is entirely another. It seems they definitely didn't want owners meddling down there.
But we have tin snips and we know how to use them.
I no longer use Loctite. I torque the bolt/screw after adding Marine Goop. It holds the bolt/screw in place, the seal remains flexible (unlike Loctite) and it is easy to break the seal if needed later. Thanks all, it’s done now. Whatever moron who designed those stupid plastic covers in the battery compartment should be tarred and feathered and run out of town never to work in the industry again. And the idiot who thought it was necessary to put locktite on the massively oversized and dumbly located torx bolts needs a slap upside the head. What should be a 2 minute job turns into a frustrating sweary 45 minutes.
There is a time and place for loctite, that isn’t it.I no longer use Loctite. I torque the bolt/screw after adding Marine Goop. It holds the bolt/screw in place, the seal remains flexible (unlike Loctite) and it is easy to break the seal if needed later.
Having a two seater lets me avoid the plastic cover dramas. I took a quick look yesterday at the batteries when I visited the dealer. Only a few more sleeps.
