Front Light Bar Exclusion Zone

Hi! I am wondering if the space under the grill area is a functional vent for cooling? I wanted to place a light bar here because it fits perfectly.

Also, where is the plug located for Ext1 so I can connect it to the interior switch?

These are my two options at the moment.

I had the same idea, the OSRAM SX500-SP sould fit perfectly…

If you take the air filter box out it’s easier to get to the wiring. You may be able to reach it without , not sure
In my case it was taped to the loom above the air inlet on the inner wing

I think it’s the other side in LHD vehicles

I had Houston Car Stereo mount it but will take a look tomorrow. It felt sturdy and tight in there when I picked it up

That’s a cool idea to put a led light bar in the grill. I never thought of that. Did it work?
