Forward camera cover

Hi, was wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove the plastic cover behind the rearview mirror ( it covers the forward facing camera).
From what i can tell i think it need to be popped straight down but i am afraid to break it…

It does pop straight down. And yeah it’s on there. It has for clipping points, built in to the cover.
