Forum Photo Contest Shakedown thread

We've some really great images being posted to the forum recently.

In light of this let's have a monthly thread to vote on a best photo/picture, any subject matter is valid as long as its not offensive or subject to copyright.

Submit your images and the community will vote.

• Winning images will be uploaded to a 'winners' folder in the media section of the forum
• Winners get a 'best photo' banner on their account
• Winning images can be uploaded in hi res for the community, they're perfect for desktop backgrounds
• Any other suggestions then let me know

Rules.

Only one vote per member, you can't like everything so be picky.
If you chose to change your vote you can do so at any time before the closing date.
Submit photos any time you like but the earlier the better, submissions start the 1st of the month.
Voting closes the last day of each month, when the winner will be announced.
In event of a tie the winner will be randomly chosen from the tiebreakers.
Photos can be resubmitted, votes gathered will let you know if you're flogging a dead horse.
More than one photo can be submitted by each member.
If you think of any other rules that should be included then let me know.

Otherwise, a "latecomer" who posts a photo is at a disadvantage.

Just tested this...you already can revoke it. Simply click on "Like", again, and it will remove it.

Totally agree. Let's see how the mechanics work for this as its an off the shelf software plugin.

Just tested this...you already can revoke it. Simply click on "Like", again, and it will remove it.

Yes...so it's up to the voter to be "honest" and remove their likes from the ones they don't select.

Ok, so we either have a one vote per member thats based on an honesty (@DaveB self control is paramount)

Or, vote for as many images as you like.

So after a brief mess around the software uses the Reaction score of a post.
