A little background...

I own am a small boutique dealer in South Carolina. I specialize in G Wagons and all sorts of odd ball rigs.

I had been eying an Ineos since they were first announced and considered ordering but ultimately held off.

Fast forward to end of year and ready for something new and fun....posted on a FB group I was wanting a near base Grenadier in Scottish White. SAL from Mossy INEOS calls me and goes over some great discounts, shipping to my door and 2.9% APR offer. LETS go! Working with Mossy was flawless. NO BS and easy deal. 5 days from contact to delivery to my door.

This will be my wifes primary driver (Shes coming from these vehicles in the past 2 years : 2021 Volvo XC90, 2023 Defender, 2018 Range Rover HSE). In the past she has had daily drivers like her 1989 FJ62, 1995 Range Rover Country and an FJ80 that was lifted. So she is well versed in all sorts.

My first impression was: a bit shocked in the first 5 minutes of driving. Very different from even the G500/G550's I am used to. The more I drove it the more I "Got it" . Before my first drive I mounted larger K03's.

I added the wolfbox rear view and new heated seats. I ordered the King Steering upgrade but as we have gotten use to it I have held off on installing for now.

We did our usual 5 hour trip to WNC to chase some snow and I was surprised at how it performed on the interstate.

I agree with most: If you dont know what you are getting into you are going to be upset. This isn't a Mercedes GLE, this isn't a new Defender. This is traditional design and with that comes major trade offs. We have had a few gremlins which we expected. It is what it is and we love it so far...
