Have any of you installed a Milltek exhaust system on your Grenadier? There is one on BaT now with the modified exhaust (non resonated) and sounds very cool. Anyone know what the resonated vs non resonated difference is on the sound?

The non res effectively just deletes the rear muffler from the factory system; resonated would add in a small resonator, so expect something between stock and the non-res Milltek

Do you have to cut existing pipes to fit the Milltek??

So they have a new version out now that is a resonated back exhaust they’re still working on. The buddy of mine put that on his grenadier a few weeks back and it sounds just like stock so we are going to the non-resonated to see the difference.

I ordered a Milltek non resonated exhaust and it is scheduled to be delivered Monday. Does anyone have any experience with Milltek? I am torn between the resonated and non resonated. I ordered the non resonated but now wondering if I may have made a mistake. Has anyone heard both or either in real life?

I haven't heard one on the Grenadier in person, but sold lots of Milltek in a past life... Always go non-res with Milltek if you want to hear anything

The oem exhaust system is one piece from the Catalytic Converter flange back so with changing the exhaust system, you will typically need to cut before the rear axle to remove. We worked with Kooks to develop a cat back flange exhaust that requires no welding and is installed in less than an hour. Deletes resonator and smaller muffler with 4" tips. Increased performance and fuel economy. We now run with a tuner and it's a huge difference. System is louder than stock during acceleration above 50 percent throttle but no drone at other operating points. All 5 star reviews from owners. We have several videos on out YouTube channel.
