Any recommendations on equipment for the 2 day class? Am I likely to need sliders or a winch?
You, yourself, and a stock vehicle is fine for both fundamentals and recovery classes.Any recommendations on equipment for the 2 day class? Am I likely to need sliders or a winch?
I’m on Long Island- New England/Jersey can work for me.I’d be all over one in New England 1 or 2 day
If you're looking for recovery specifically, that would be the second day of the weekend class, but keep checking the OEX website, I'm sure there will be another Recovery Workshop later in the yearI could only attend the first day of the April 6-7th Course. I'm most interested in recovery (Cannot attend the May 11th recovery course either I don't think), especially winching fundamentals. But the videos of the ditch look so cool, I would probably go to a two-day course that had some driving training as well.
Will be looking out for the dates for the 2 day weekend class later this year!!If you're looking for recovery specifically, that would be the second day of the weekend class, but keep checking the OEX website, I'm sure there will be another Recovery Workshop later in the year
I'm in! I will make that work! Thank you for the notice! Had emailed Kat earlier this week - she had offered up the April dates and didn't yet know about the Nov dates. Cheers!
Look forward to seeing you there Adam and perhaps earlier at the Pub!Dang it! Due to some work travel, I had to back out, but I'm booked in the November class.
I did the PTO2 experience tour event at the OEX NC facility - GREAT location! Easy to get to from Charlotte or R/D, DC, etc. Strongly encourage those in the area to go for it.It is a fantastic area! The main OEX training property in NC is approximately 200 acres of purpose built trails on private land surrounded by the Uwharrie NF, with access to another property just a few miles away that is almost exclusively "challenging" terrain only (requiring skids, sliders, lift, etc. for use).
The outpouring response is awesome to see, so I'll try to gather some dates and specifics, and let this poll run for a few more days
