well that's one way of putting it, I'm consoledI was going to order the black roof and didn’t, however I think with the IB roof it actually picks out the grey a lot more and it doesn’t look as black.
@Shaky , I think so too. If someone really uses their Trialmaster for what it is meant for, aluminium rims would be really inappropriate for me. But I won't use it as a show vehicle either.I wonder how many DG Trialmasters will be running around with 17” alloys ?
Probably not as many as the ones with steel wheels me thinks.
I ended up ordering the black contrast roof for my DG station wagon. Was going to go with the wrap but there wasn't that much difference in the cost. Figured the paint would take more abuse. Yet to know if I made the correct decision or not.I was going to order the black roof and didn’t, however I think with the IB roof it actually picks out the grey a lot more and it doesn’t look as black.
I will still live with mine for a bit before I wrap or don’t wrap the roof.
For a moment there I thought peacock was code for something entirely different. It seems like Donny Grey is a really hard colour to capture. It varies hugely depending on lighting, reflection, indoors, outdoors. Its clearly not black, but a lot darker than my last Disco Sport. Where I live we have a lot of peacocks and they love sitting on black cars. Hopefully this is not a peacock magnet lol!
I do like the Gren in this Black. It's like a speckled black finish..After much hand wringing, I’m now very pleased with my DG choice after seeing it again yesterday. Inside, but under some nice lights. The colour has a lot of different “colours” based on the angle/lighting but it looks very sophisticated. I also did a comparison between the Inky Black and Donny Grey plate and the DG is much lighter in person. Anyone seen a DG with 17” Alloys?? (Cue more hand wringing). View attachment 7808353
It’s a fair bit lighter than the inky black imho. That pic above is the DG colour plate sitting on an IB car.I do like the Gren in this Black. It's like a speckled black finish..
Favourite colour of footballers and imfluencers I’d guessThere is going to be a hell of a lot of DG Grenadiers on the road
