As far as I know they are legal, they don’t protrude any more than a towing ball and we’re sold to me by a tow bar fitting company.Did you post elsewhere telling the story of the rear steps - I they look inter3sting

Similar idea... handy light for reversing as well.As far as I know they are legal, they don’t protrude any more than a towing ball and we’re sold to me by a tow bar fitting company.
They are designed to fit between the tow bar and hall and clamp in place, to take it off just un do the bolts.
They serve two functions one as a step the other is to stop others from running into the back of the car
The lights are a major bonus!Similar idea... handy light for reversing as well.

our neighbour across the road has oneI realize I haven't added my two dogs to the thread. I have two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers or Tollers for short, Ziggy and Scout. I also included a picture from last night where Ziggy decided to embrace his inner lion.

These are ours - Cheddar (who is 11) and Sage (who's 4). If only they were as relaxed as this all the time..........
Was discussed on this thread:My dearest furry pals-
Does your master know if the alarm system has some kind of interior compartment monitoring/surveillance?
Meaning, does the alarm go off if they lock the car and leave me in the back for short?
If yes, how can this be disabled?
Please let us know - Woof

Hi DCPU - they came from Amazon and are called “Bear Bells” (hikers wear them so that bears are aware they’re around in order not to startle them). Cheddar in particular wanders off to chase rabbits and therefore the bell lets us know where he is up to about 50m. We did originally try a GPS collar but they require a phone signal and that’s exactly what we didn’t have when walking in forest/woods.Can I ask where you got the bell from?
