We let my niece and her husband borrow the Grenadier for an evening to go to dinner at Devils Thumb Ranch in Colorado. The snow was coming down in sheets. Being southerners, they thought the windshield wipers would clear the heavy snow from the windshield after dinner. They stripped one of my wiper arms.

The manufacturer of the wiper arm is DOGA. They’re based in Barcelona. The dealer doesn’t have any stock. I’m thinking this may take a while. It appears to be a standard 5/8 splined post. The wiper arm is 16” with J hook. Has anyone had any luck with Bosch, NAPA or one of the domestic retail brands?

I bought these. The price is for two. But I think you can use all similar models from other brands.

Thanks all - I’m actually looking for the WIPER ARM that attaches between the wiper blade and the motor’s spline. I’m good on wiper blades. But thanks for the replies.

I just got back from auto parts store. Unless I want to re-engineer the wiper pattern, I think I might be officially SOL until I can secure the direct replacement arm. It’s time for the tried-and-true copper-wire-bouquet field side repair…

The other day I was looking at them and it looked just like the ones I took off of my track car M235i..... When I get home I'll do some digging but I was laughing a bit when I noticed and thought the Grenny is really just BMW's off roader.... Even the damn gas tank is from BMW.

Are these them? Ebay has several others as well.

No, that’s not the correct arm. But thanks for posting! I’ve been in the DOGA site, EBay, Amazon, NAPA and went to the parts store - can’t find a good match.

I did the copper wire bouquet. I had to use two strands of “bouquet” as the arm was pretty hollowed out. The wiper motor appears to have some good torque! It’s working great for now - and no snow or rain in the forecast for the next week! Temps will be in the 60’s with abundant sunshine all week. I caught a break!

I’ll reach out to Red Noland on Monday and update the post then. In the meantime, thanks for looking!

If anyone is wondering what the copper wire bouquet is, here is the finished product. That pattern continues all the way around the spline. So far, so good. It’s working like new.

I appreciate the simple bolt on design - easy to jerry-rig.
