Since you can select rough pack on a field master and smooth pack on a trial master, and the same options, not much other than the default wheels (alloy 18 on FM, 17” steelies on TM) and the raised air intake. I just configured my own - I had a specific config in mind and didn’t want to be stuck with the defaults from either the FM or TM - and I like having a badge that says “Built On Purpose.” Basically, I have everything from the TM without a raised air intake (I hate the extra wind noise on the road and am not in places with a ton of sand or dust - more forest), plus heated leather seats (a necessity in winter for me).Hi,
what is the difference in the result when if I select all the options of Field Master and Trial Master?
There are hardly any options locked to a particular model. If you go fully loaded with both the only things you cannot do are:Hi,

@Grenadian - @DoubleDoom is right. Other than wheels and raised air intake, you’ll have to decide whether you want the other battery or the “premium audio.” I did the “premium audio” which is pretty bad - should have done the battery. You’ll also have to decide whether you want carpet or a hose-out floor. As I mentioned before, you can get all of this by just selecting the base model and picking your specific preferences. There are hardly any options locked to a particular model. There are versions you can build that start from the base station wagon that means its neither an FM or TM.
- no subwoofer on the TM (premium audio only adds a subwoofer - its the same audio system without sub on the TM)
- no power take off on the FM.
Plus certain countries seem to have different configuration options available or not avaialble.
And for some reason it can work out cheaper to up specify a lower model.@Grenadian - @DoubleDoom is right. I did the same. Love the heated seats, wish I skipped the premium audio.@Grenadian - @DoubleDoom is right. I went with carpet on a TM to protect the footwell lump. I also went with rubber mats to protect the carpet. I have seen lots of pictures of IGs with scratched lumps from shoes. Mud is the main issue for us, so heavy-duty rubber mats do the job. I cannot abide scratched plastic.I spaced up a TM to FM without the carpet.
There are too many to list. Avoid the smoker pack in the configurator.Hi,

The dual batter and trailer options for the infrastructure are so worth it.@Grenadian - @DoubleDoom is right.
