That's only half the truth.

Bushfires disrupt the human economy. But they are essential for nature’s survival. Without these fires, species would not survive. Many plant seeds need fire to reproduce.

Apart from that, a fire creates a new basis for the next generations - weak organisms are cleaned out.

Sounds harsh. But nature is not humanity.

And a bushfire doesn't make a product brilliant.
Fair points , however most people don't want premature respiratory demise. Doesn't make sense to knock off the new generation prematurely.
And in Australia, plant communities don't always survive let alone regenerate after fires.
Ancient Gondwanaland forests have taken1000s of years to grow and the current climate is unsuitable for regeneration.
So we try to protect our environment because it is a major supporter of our economy.
Oh and the electric bbq is great when you don't want to stink the house out frying fish!

It is funny how we humans think we are so important to the planet.
It has been around for millions of years and we are just a short part of it's history.
It was here before humans, particularly homo sapiens, existed and it will probably still be around long after we become extinct, which sometimes seems to be our goal.
Multiple ice ages, dinosaurs, several different human species, climate changes, animals and plants.
We seem to think the world revolves around the human species, when in reality we are just a glitch in it's history.
