Jeep is unique in that way. They had a hot product for 20 years that the Jeep executives did the best to destroy.

Yeah. But I think, for periods of time, a lot of great iconic American machines have been wrecked by corporate decisions. Some bounced back. The Corvette and especially the Mustang had some undesirable years.Jeep is unique in that way. They had a hot product for 20 years that the Jeep executives did the best to destroy.
Totally fair point. The Ford bronco was surprisingly great. And who would have predicted that Corvette would look like an European supercar in this incarnation? The same guys who created the Hummer H3 could create that Corvette? Mind boggling...Yeah. I have a 1967 bronco and that is great my 2022 was built like dog shit.Totally fair point. The Ford bronco was surprisingly great. It would be really a rookie move on Lynn Calder, to casually over promise they are fixing the Adas disablement, in a fking podcast, of all places, then fail to deliver…April now IA, any new information on software updates? Are the 2025 builds showing up with ADAS, TMPS or Service Reminder options?
Well she is a rookie… so perhaps we are indeed screwed
My 2023 model, Software version 2940 shows logo of current station only:Does any of the software updates all the logos to display on the DAB/FM radion channels on 23 vehicles?
My Grenadier did the same. Service reminder popped up at 2500 miles. My Gren was a May '24 build (purchased in November) so it was just going off time since built. Apparently the dealerships are supposed to reset this when the vehicle is sold. My dealer neglected to do that- they were cool about it I took it in yesterday and they plugged in and reset it at no charge. Took 5 minutes.Okay, we are now into March any official or unofficial news on potential software updates? Owners are getting restless IA so engage your diff locks and get us owners up over this software mountain!!! We know you peek into this forum now and then so lets get this done so we can move on with our lives!!!
And thanks IA for popping up my service reminder this weekend so now I have to deal with it for the next six months until it’s actually been 12 months since I bought my Grenadier.
I spoke to the dealer here in north Texas two days ago. He was clearly frustrated and said Ineos keeps making promises and dropping the ball. Also said they tried to roll out an update in December and caused some major issues on some demo vehicles. One even fried the head unit as rumor goes.We are in late April. Any software coming?
Hello Ineos?? We need this to happen. Can't just sit on a podcast and tell tall tales about corporate vacations in Africa and Iceland - you do need to deliver for your customers.
Could also be the original software vendor is not around anymore, refuses to continue development for the project, hasn’t been paid by IA, no new vendor can be found or some other contractual issue is at play? Whatever the real reason it’s beyond silly at this point and is a bit of a liability for the Grenadier especially as they age and there continues to be no software updates.Methinks that since their software development, according to reports here, were done in a "not-so-friendly" country, they have very little to no control over the modification outcomes.
Me too! That’s gotta be my biggest gripe about this vehicle. The infotainment software is laggy and unresponsive. I’ve owned 20+ year old vehicles from the early 2000’s that felt more refined in that regard. I would rather just have an off the shelf single DIN stereo deck, mechanical HVAC controls, and analog gauges than this setup.
