Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has run into this one... This morning I turned on the car and put it in reverse before all the lights went off. I then noticed the check engine light stayed on. My Innova 5102 reader does not detect anything wrong yet the light is stubbornly lit.
Not a big deal, I can take it to the dealer next week (there is a new one about 40 min away) however I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem.
Thank!

Haven’t had that one yet. I have noticed that many things seem to need a full boot of the ECU etc before they respond normally.

Maybe press down on the radio power button until it reboots, is what he means. I found if I plug in my scanner before starting the car, it doesn't see the codes.

Have you tried plugging in a scanner to read and clear the error code?
