Perhaps installing a large tank is a) more difficult to do or b) it just doesn't work because it's too big to be placed properly.

Are the AddBlue tanks part of the Australian vehicles? Its not a legal requirement out here I dont think at this stage, and a number of other aspects are pitched to the local situation IE Roo Bars etc.

What is the volume of the AddBlue tank? I saw it holds 15-20 kg of which seems to calculate to like 4.7 gallons. Does that sound right?

The size of the tanks (17 litres) is listed on the Australian spec sheet.

So nobody else seeing a mismatch between the photos and the brochure in terms of the volume?

Unless the tanks are double walled then the volume looks far greater than 17 litres, or they're only fitting one of the two shown.

Coming at it a different way, what's AdBlue consumption and therefore range on a 17 litre tank?

I forget my exact calculations but I worked out previously that you would most likely not need to fill it before servicing (at 10k). Which kind of makes range a moot point.

We get adblue here, I’m guessing that the b57 engine comes as the full set of electronics, mechanical components and emissions control equipment so would be difficult to decouple. Besides, Euro 6 (which makes adbue mandatory) will become mandatory in a few years so probably not worth the effort.

About 1,000 kms per litre so 17,000 kms with fitted 17 litre combined tanks
