Center Console (cupholder) Solution

This is mine installed. I choose the gray version. Its really, really nice.
Despite the price I think it's worth it, to me this eclipses the factory quality.
A true improvement. Looks great!

Wonder if they mean the machined finish part, not sure but my guess is the finish could be refinished and not had to be re-made??
"parts came back from the anodizer with cosmetic issues and I had to re-machine all new ones" is what he told me.

2 quick questions if I may.
1- Do you have a Nalgene and does it fit?
2- What's the quality of the 2d print?
Thanks!

I dont have nalgene but I have a 20oz yeti cup that I like to use.
I'll take a pic in the morning.
I assume you mean the insert below the aluminum that holds the cups.
Its a very, very fine print if some semi flexible slightly rubber like material. Doesn't flex as much as rubber but it's not abs either. The surface isn't perfectly smooth but it's not very rough either. Unless you really look at it you can't tell it's 3d printed. I think it's a very high quality product.

I opened the box for my grey center console. Took some pictures from various cups and bottles. Used my wife 40oz water Stanley, 20oz insulated cup, a bottle of wine and 12oz ball jar. They all fit nicely.

lol how many variations of liquid holders does one need to transport in the vehicle?

I would buy this purely for the bling factor, of having an alu slab in the center console

Well super excited now to get mine in... Looks like to full bottles of open wine will fit just as I was hoping for!!! That means my 40's will too. ;)

You can choose not to get the grenade or lines. I went with the logo, it's low key, respect to designer and nod to what Grenadier did for living.
The lines are required despite the early prototype photos and renderings showing no lines, trust me I tried (as of the first and second production run in early 2025).

Another pic with yeti cups.
Closest is a 20oz yeti cup behind it is a 26oz yeti cup.
You can see that the cup towards the passenger seat is slightly angled. Neither cup sits on the bottom of the cup holder, they are both held in place by the opening. I can feel about 0.5" or so from the bottom of the holder to the bottom of the 26oz yeti cup. A bit less on the 20oz cup. I suspect this makes the cup holder more steady than if it sits on the bottom, this way they are nicely wedged in

And here is the 26oz cup in the driver's side cup holder. The hole isn't chamfered so the cup mostly holds against the top of the stainless steel cup holder. I didn't think this matter much but sharing for those who wonder. The look is amazing. Looks better than factory IMHO.

My Google Pixel 9 XL fits well in the cell phone slot, not that I'm going to use it that way.

Is the actual cup holder made of molded rubber or silicon? From the pictures folks are sharing the cup holder looks like it has a rough texture or is 3D printed in appearance. Also, how close is the grey color version compared to the existing grey interior panels? Is it a shade lighter darker or spot on? Overall though it looks like a great product.

The gray is spot on. I'd say a perfect match.

The holder is some form of 3d printed material. Its not abs plastic, is something a bit rubbery but not quite full rubber. Its also more finely printed than any 3d prints I bought before, is a very tight weave. I can't really tell when it's installed, and definitely not with a cup in it. I can feel the print with my finger as a slightly uneven surface.
