I found a grommeted hole under the rear seat (passenger side) that appears to provide direct access to the outside. I am a little confused considering the wading capability of the vehicle. This small grommet cannot be the only thing keeping water from entering into the cabin. I would like to know if i am missing a plug on the underside of the chassis. When i remove the grommet and shine a flash light (at the right angle) i can see the light under the vehicle. Can someone try this on their Grenadier and see if they get the same results?

Your is correct, that is how it is. There are lots of these grommets on the Grenadier (and every other similar vehicle).

One thing to consider with wading depth is that the expectation is you are moving through water of that depth. Sitting still in that same depth will allow water into the cabin from all sorts of places. Although, I would expect water entry through door seals before the multitude of grommets in the floor (there are probably 40+)
