Remove the rear seat in the station wagon and the dimensions are almost the same as the N1 utility
If you watch the Africa Overland trio about the 41min mark they pull out a tape measure and take several readings which may be of assistance

Oof...I have my test drive in 2 weeks, but...these numbers hurt to see. This is smaller than a 5th gen 4Runner by a decent margin. :( That's going to be a really...really...tight fit for our use case.

This is actually one of the down side for me. Not the doors but the size of the rear.

I currently have a truck and draws and shotguns just drop straight in and that in their slip. The IG won’t lend itself to that at all. And breaking a gun down is a pain in the rear and still doesn’t get the slip out of view. So you still end up advertising what is in the rear.
double barrels take seconds to break down.
Go with one of them.

Anyone have the measurement between the tie down rails or tie down rings please. Left to right.
TIA

Would some kind station wagon owner measure the distance from the rear seat back - at 55cm above the floor - to the back door.
I'm wondering if my drawers will fit!

Grazie!

820mm+/-10mm depending on whether or not there's a cargo barrier installed ;)
55cm above the floor level (90cm) is a "reach"!

Hey @DenisM - you’ve been quiet since yesterday. Something keeping you busy? 😉

So how’s the new bus?

Well one drawer will fit!
Wonder if I can cut the other one by a few cm...

You might say that!! Still where I left it yesterday! It arrived a week before I expected it to...
I have a front entrance crowded with tools/paint etc. . Let's say the incentive to complete these tasks at hand, falls into the category of "important and urgent";)I doubt I'll be able to get much of a drive before the weekend...after which I will contribute some jottings.
The absence of the side runners is a practical issue for the bride due to mobility issues (advancing age is a "bugger and not for sissies!" as my late parents were fond of saying:love:) So I'll be the footman and place a step for her to board and alight ! Gotta plan these things. As an otherwise lifelong keen and competent driver she's quite happy as a passenger and has no desire to take the wheel. Hopefully that will change on an extended trip south in a few weeks...

Any chance someone has modelled the cargo area of the Trialmaster? Trying to design a base and shelf system…
