Black Sheep Ctek D250 charger bracket

Someone mentioned to me that Black Sheep will have a mounting bracket to add the CTek D250 DC/DC charger to the Grenadier Aux battery setup. Has anyone else seen this and any link to info on it?

Don't you just need a relatively thin flat sheet to pick up the four mounting holes in each unit, sandwich below the Smartpass and your charger fits above and connects with CTEK busbar kit?

Yes, but I am am interested to see how neatly Black Sheep can achieve this. Their gear is very clever

The INEOS rep in Australia mentioned this week there is busbar in the vehicle (5 seater Trialmaster), but he gave no more details. I asked again whether there was busbar and he said yes. It might be the CTEK busbar kit or there is a busbar under that LIttelfuse cover on the driver's side in a RHD car. My money is on the second choice.

Looks like INEOS has the FHZ Series 5 busbar. On the prototype I saw 3 slots were used, leaving 2 free.

IMHO, the "internal" electrical arrangement is a great strength of the Grenadier. It will be interesting to watch if other marques do likewise in due course....

The specs say the bus bars are rated at 400A continuous, both the 5 and 7 series.

Thanks for that, but the cost of the bracket and the courier fee to Australia will cost more than a CTEK 120S and 250SE. I will have someone fabricate a less fancy version.

EDIT: if I am reading it correctly, the price includes the CTEK 250SE charger, so it is not as expensive as I first thought. So the price includes the CTEK 250SE and the bracket. The 250SE is the Lithium compatible model.

This could be a good solution for me with light bars, rack & Safari windows.
Urban are using Lazerlamps Linear series which are what I wanted to use.

Or maybe just mount one of these directly to the roof/gutter

A CTek d250se un Australia is roughly $370 so that makes the bracket more than $800 plus shipping and probably GST. Doesn’t seem like good value for a bracket to me. Particularly when the whole table is a similar price

I agree I wouldn't buy it

It will be the responsibility of you SE Queenslanders (near Ipswich) to get KAON to make a CTEK bracket for us Aussies, plus some of their other goodies (and they do have some goodies).
