@Jean Mercier Could you please do me a favor and measure the lowest opening in the grill the next time you get your hands on your car? As shown in the attachment.
Thank you very much...
I measured the grill itself, the opening is slightly larger of course:

[EDITED] 4cm high by (probably) 56 cm wide (length).
I removed the picture because I probably made a mistake.

Thanks...
If too small then I'll need to cut out the upper part of the grill...

you want to close an opening that was made to supply air? 🤔
Yeah I was wondering that. However mounting forward of the opening on the massive Euro bumper “may” still allow enough air in. Won’t work for me though as I’ve the winch optioned, unless I want to add to the faff of accessing it which I don’t.

Euh, now that you make the comment, hmm, perhaps I made a mistake! I'll measure it again, or somebody else 🤔
Perhaps it was 56 cm.
I set the measures in relation. You wrote that the grill ist about 40 mm high. That gives a ration of about 1:3.75... Which means the grill is about 750mm wide... And regarding the relation between the grill and the width of the car, that makes more sense...
I added my "calculations"....

I have to say I have never worked in Centimetres and find it very difficult to follow.
We always measure, cut, build in millimetres for accuracy and consistency.
Measuring in centimetres brings in a margin of error of 20mm (10mm minimum) or 3/4" for our US viewers
That is a huge difference

Yes, I guess so, but I didn't analyse how they are mounted. I didn't like it at all! I would guess that they will not survive intensive usage, neither 10 years, but I could be wrong.
Maybe next visit you can get a few photos?
