Auxiliary battery retrofit in UK?

Is there anyone in the UK South West region (Bath preferably) who can supply and fit an auxiliary battery set up with the ability to charge from solar as well as from the vehicle’s own system?

I use a Bluetti power station for 240v AC requirements, but would prefer to leave it at home when not in use.

An auxiliary battery set up would suit my recreational needs as well as save space.

I am not an electrician.

don’t know about UK, but here any 4wd specialist fit out shop could put in a dual battery system and probably most auto electricians although they may not have off the shelf systems.

It would probably be the most expensive option but have you asked your agent what the cost would be to retrofit the auxiliary battery setup (but with a real Smartpass & a D250)?

Have to be honest and say If I was starting from zero I probably wouldn’t do that, I would put in a Redarc system and wire it up a bit differently.

Yes, Redarc are probably a bigger player in your market than the UK.

If you start taking consumers off the main battery then there's more jeopardy regarding issues and warranty. Fine if you know what you are doing or can take the time to understand fully.

I quite like the different approach Ineos have taken with regard to the system functionality. Can't say whether it's good long-term but it's an interesting "watch this space".

I would have asked my agent, were it not that when he priced up retrofitting the lockable spare wheel box, the total had already exceeded £500 before I told him to stop!
I’m considering APB of Kidderminster (who supplied the Big Country drawer system), as they stock a suitable choice of options, but letting them (or anyone who’s not worked on a Grenadier) loose on Grunter as a test case leaves me feeling uneasy.
