The title says it. Does anyone have an audio shop in the San Diego area that's competent in upgrading the stereo in a Grenadier? I can live with all the quirks except the less premium audio. Thanks in advance.

What components did you add to your system? Do you have specific brands you've had success with? Thanks!
If you ever do the drive up to the SF Bay, I have a guy. He did mine and it's amazing.
Thanks so much. I haven’t needed to put aftermarket audio in a vehicle in a long time. This is really helpful. I’m sure it’s going to be a fun project.Sub

6 channel amp for door and tweeter. https://audison.com/product/af-m6d/
I have the sub in a box in the trunk. Longer wires so I can put it in top of drawers if I add them.
Tweeters in the A pillars.
Full sound deadening in the doors and on the floor of the trunk (under the carpet).
Calibrated microphone and computer for tuning the dsp. Retuned after 30hrs burn in and increased the power levels by 3db. Mounted the sub controller knob to the right of the steering wheel just below the trim line.
A special bracket was designed to mount the amps under the passenger seat, I wanted to keep my rear seat open for a second battery.
Give Reus audio a call in Orange. They did mine and made all the templates for varying spec systems. I got the mid range option and it’s epic. The title says it. good to know, like I said it’s been a while since I’ve had an aftermarket system installed. There are probably a lot of considerations I’m not even aware of.Also,
There is an airbag sensor in the doors.
Pay attention to the how you power down the vehicle and get the computer to go into deep sleep. Get the car into deep sleep and disconnect the battery before you get into the door.
If you don't, and you disconnect and reconnect the side crash sensor you need to do a trip to your dealer to have them reset the airbag error message. I had to do that, to 3 minutes at the dealer (they did it for free).
