Just in London and visited The Grenadier Pub tucked away in Belgravia. Definitely worth a visit for both the novelty value and Greene King beer (supporting my niece's husband who works for them). Not exactly walking the beach in Anglesey where the Wilks brothers carved out the shape off the original Land Rover into wet sand.....but its a nod to the history.

Hello all,
I to just came back from a trip to England. Awfully cold there now. In fact, many Brit’s say it was rather nippy. I would say it’s well worth the visit if you happen to go abroad. Try the beef Wellington , a pub favorite. It’s located in a posh part of town so you need not be concerned about walking the narrow alley ways that transverse the area. You can also ask the waiter to staple a dollar bill on the ceiling to commemorate your visit. The ceiling is scattered with dollar bills marking the myriad of visitors. I’ll post some pictures!

I'll politely be the first one to say, "Pics or it didn't happen," because we all want to see pics! :D
I also just got back from London! Had to stop in and visit. Got a chance to throw up a dollar bill on the ceiling to mark the occasion.

The pub is now on my bucket list jsut because. Although I would probably pin a Jefferson note to the ceiling.

Nice part of town indeed. Pop in to the Lanesborough Hotel cigar garden if you fancy a puff (not poof) and a digestive.

Note, nice part of town or not, but beware the scroates on e-bikes nabbing mobile phones out of the hands of pedestrians. Have had a few friends who have lost theirs and also one that got mugged for his watch recently in and around Belgravia/Victoria area.

Good boozer, note my icon!
