Well folks, arguably tomorrow, 25th April, is the most important day of the year in Australia
Anzac Day is when we remember all those who have given their life, health and freedom for us in war.
Those on all sides, in all conflicts, as most were just doing their duty
If anyone has any negative comments --keep them to yourself.
My great grandfather in the Boer War
My grandfather in WW1
My father two tours in Korea and his last parade, when he was too old and sick to March, so rode in a van. So happy when he saw his great grandchildren in the crowd.
My son who has served 17 years in the Army will proudly be wearing his Cherry Beret tomorrow and his grandfathers medals., while I will be wearing his replicas at dawn service.
