Anyone know any aftermarket floormats?

Biggest issue in my experience is stuff getting under everything via the gas pedal. I don't think i've seen a single solution that can prevent that, but am eager to see if WT's offering does better than INEOS's (and I'm not sure it will?).

I have been in contact with X1Mats (Formally F1Mars) trying them to manufacture a hybrid mat. Front/Rear/Cargo. They are waiting on getting an IG to measure. They have a 6 layer mat that sounds like to would cut down on road noise for us without carpet. Here is the components of their mat. In addition, they sell a Hybrid version in which a carpeted layer attaches to the top, providing you with 6 layers.

Has anyone used their products previously?

Too bad they don’t offer an option for a cutout for the luggage rails. I guess that’s why God made box cutters.

So I’ve talked to WeatherTech and confirmed they only sell the Grenadier cargo liner w/ the cutouts already in place. Unlike a lot of other people on this thread, I need one that will hold water and the cut outs kind of defeat that purpose. Wet dogs and leaky coolers are my issue… Has anyone found a cargo liner that can hold a few gallons of water without it leaking through?

Also, for those interested, having owned WeatherTech and Ineos liners for the front and second row, the Ineos liners are far superior, in my opinion. They fit very snuggly and are a little more rubbery with more capture areas in the honeycomb pattern.

My genuine ineos rubber ones have worn thru after 12 months.If you could buy singular drivers side would be ok but buying pair every 12 months be expensive job.

Just got my Inhabit mats. Great thus far. I will get a rear deck cover without rail slots for hauling “wet” things like sacks of crawfish, game, etc.

I’ve got Weathertech in my Jeep & Outback. The biggest issue is pulling the driver and or passenger mats without spilling any liquid that has collected. 98.6% of the time there was spillage. That’s why I decided on Inhabit for the Gren on top of the vinyl flooring.

I'm happy with the OEM all weather mats for my front and second rows. I ended up with the Weathertech cargo mat, which is not as grippy as I'd like.

I don't understand these mats.. how do they retain liquid? It also doesn't have a lip that bridge the gap between the door sill and vinyl footwell floor.

I have the stock Ineos rubber mats front and rear seats and they are excellent. Bought the Weathertech mat for the boot. It fits great, however, it takes a good month of use and hot weather for it to completely flatten and conform to the floor. I have had the same thing in my 62 series Land Cruiser for years and it has worked out fine.

Hey, y'all. RE Inhabit floor mats & retaining liquid: my floor mat goals (that's weird to type) were: 1. made of material that would last; 2. easy to clean; 3. highly durable; 4. looked awesome - and pretty much in that order, too. Made in the USA was a bonus.

Having my floor mats retain liquid was not a priority for me.

98.6% of the time I spill at least some, usually all, of the collected liquid from my front Weathertech mats in my Jeep & Outback. So, I started looking for a different option for the Grenadier. Rear WT mats in the Outback performed slightly better, or my dumping skills were better, but meh.

Regarding the rear cargo area, I do have a full rubber mat to lay back there when transporting leaky things like crawfish sacks, beach gear, etc.

P.S. Props to INEOS for the option to get vinyl floor instead or carpet in the Grenadier. LOVE THIS.

I see, so to confirm, these mats do not retain liquid right? If there is too much liquid, it will just float on top of the mat, they can spill out of the mat and rest between the IG's vinyl floor and the mat?
