My Grenadier order finally showed up (1 year after ordering) and I'm going to go have a look at it- probably bring her home tomorrow.

The salesman advised me there is a $2000 credit from Ineos for accessories. I was browsing the catalog and I had plans to install a light bar- is the Ineos option one any good or am I going to regret it and want aftermarket? Are they made by someone reputable or just Chinesium garbage?

The $2K credit would cover the cross bars and the light. (dont need a full roof rack).

Any other ideas for how to use the $2K credit? Not a fan of the Ineos rock sliders or steps- definitely going to go to the after market for those.

I'm heading to the dealership in an hour to take a look at my Grenadier and choose the accessories. I'll find out more details. I'm planning on paying cash for the Grenadier (no financing) so maybe that is part of the deal?

I had the side runners, cross bars and LED light - do not like any of them. Got rid of the crossbars and switched to Leitner - going to do Baja on the lights and will figure out a slider with step option.

The lightbar is decent quality, but I have had it less than a year, so I cannot comment on long term durability.

The lighbtar has both spot and flood reflectors, and I would say in real world use more spot than flood. Mine is mounted on a Rhino Roofrack.

Not sure I would recommend people buy it, but as a free extra I might take it. My hesitation is based on a 20 inch Viper lightbar I fitted to the Roo bar, it is so good I rarely use the 40 inch INEOS lightbar.

When mine was delivered, it was accidentally installed by the dealer. I told them to leave it on. However, with a day, I took it back and told them to take it back.
a) It created a turbine noise above the safari windows at 30mph. Above that speed, it was unbearable. Couldnt move it back. So, it is not at all practical for the safari windows.
b) it was weak and very disappointing.

It may be worth considering third party roof rails as well. Some lower down, slimline ones as the Rhino rails generate a lot of wind noise and drag.

I am getting rear lights added to my rear rail, and instead of a light bar, I am getting additional lighting put in the bumper and probably changing the auxiliary lights as they are weak as well.

The batwing is good though and the Rhino bars are a good "starter" option if you are getting them no cost.

So the $2K accessory credit is for cash buyers only (No finance).

I decided to go with the factory side steps (even at 6' tall It was a struggle for me to pull myself into the cabin lol), the rubber floor mats, and the rear seat cover. That pretty much ate up the entire $2K credit. Unfortunately they throw the labor to install into the pricing. I would have been happy to install the side steps myself but I get thats not how it works....

Anyways, I'm stoked. They are gonna install that stuff tomorrow I will be back on Tuesday or Wed to pick it up and bring the new rig home! whooot!!!

Thank you all for the feedback above ^^^ on the factory light bar and roof rails. Looks like I made the right decision there and will look towards the aftermarket for those "upgrades" in a few months. Gonna give the old bank account a little break after this week hah

You made a great decision - at least the side runners will get you in/out for now until you decide what you want to do. As you say, it’s a hike up there. And the rubber mats are great.

I recieved the 2k and financed at 2.9% two weeks ago. They also added the hitch as it was not an installed option. Did it all over text/email and they drove it down over 1.5 hours to me as well.
