There was someone who was local. His twin brother is in the YouTube video from the LA drive. They live in Seattle. It might be a good guess. I went on their Facebook page and came across this front and center. If they are remodeling the shop it might be to include IG.

Yeah, a Lexus dealer in Seattle makes a whole lot of sense...as does a Ferrari dealer in Portland. :rolleyes::rolleyes:
What's wrong with a BMW dealership, since a majority of the rig is BMW-based??
Still no info on many of the Remote service locations like Sacramento.
I'm aghast....

Only engine mechanicals are BMW, even the DME software and tools are unique to the Ineos line. The factory scan tool software, at least used on the PTO2s, is not the same as BMW

The current dealers listed are simply addresses and numbers of the chain, once they are opened they will be Ineos brand dealers at those locations (or within the same chain)

DME software is unique to INEOS; wow, news to me. WHY??????? BMW has been doing this for over a century, INEOS 0yrs. Why reinvent the wheel when they're using a BMW lump and tranny?

My point is that IA should have had all this sales/service info finalized looooong ago, back before they promised it to the USA. They've lost quite a few vehicle sales from those having lost confidence that the ship is going in the right direction, who their dealership would be, where would be it serviced, etc.

With the detune on the engine output it is unique to the Ineos use-case; the detune specifically for increased longevity/reliability

@anand jeremy might be to modest but heads up, he runs auto business in Oregon. Some great stuff he does, not only his off road rigs but customers.

I'm well aware, Jeremy and I have been on many of the same forums for probably over 20 years at this point, most of that time I spent working for an independent European performance/service shop similar to Matrix (but on the East coast)

You have to keep in mind also that BMW have a competing range of vehicles, although I wouldn't consider them.
Ineos is an OEM customer for Engines but not the ZF transmission.
As Ineos are using different transfer case, 4WD systems, brakes, displays etc it may not have been possible/viable to use the BMW system.
Or BMW may not have wanted to supply them as it would contain proprietary, confidential information.
That is why most companies lock access to parts of the ECU

your speaking my language on this one for sure man. Agree 100% with you.

Look at that list of different component/parts, look at every different component (New or previously used on other vehicles) that's become the Grenadier, & you will be amazed, perplexed, confused, & maybe disappointed or blown away with everything that's gone into putting this together.
& that's why we're all here.

None of us would be here on this amazing forum Without Sir Jimmy's vision of what Grenadier could become.

Makes sense, I just would have thought BMW might de-tune for IA as part of the powertrain package. <shrug>

This map (shared by @4x4Brick a few weeks ago) now provides what appears to be US dealer contact information for some locations. Some locations have both phone numbers and email addresses, some only phone numbers, and some continue to list the IA customer service number. In case the info is removed from the map, here's the list:

Atlanta: 770-998-8686

Boise: (316) 708-7774 and tbrandenburgh@lylepearson.com

Boston: 781-474-2450 and nai@rokovehicles.com

Dallas: 214-902-2200

Houston: 281-589-5300 and ashton@mossytexas.com

Tampa: 727-527-5731 and jmyers@crowncars.com

For Chicago this number is Knauz in Lake Bluff. @Trialmaster Brad you were correct.

I have had good sales and service experience at Knauz. They sell LR, BWM, and MB.

I'm just worried my allocation will be dealer handled. So no guarantee that my actual spot is reserved. Its would have been better if Ineos handled it, instead of the dealers. My/Your allocation/reservation might go to the manager or his best customers first. That's how it usually works with dealers.
