We have one more choose in high end shocks, Radflow rolled out there new 2.5 inch shocks and Steering stabilizer for the INEOS Grenadier, they have two types Single knob compression adj and high/low adjustable compression shock for fronts and rears.

  1. $670 per shock with single compression adj
  2. $960 per shock with Hi/lo
  3. $400 for the Stabilizer

Link to shocks and stabler

So we now starting to have good choices for Premium shocks
  • Kings 2.5" with Reservoir and stabilizer
  • Eibach is working on bring over Pro-Truck Reservoirs shocks announced by Bodhi
  • Agile said in Video they worked with Fox to bring there Performance and Performance Elite
  • Radflow 2.5 inch Reservoirs shocks
  • Metalcloak now confirmed they are working on bring over there Rocksport Black 2.5 inch shock with reservoirs
I guess Bilstein is now the current hold out, they could do something like B8 8100's

Also it be interesting to see what Metalcloak does in this space since they also have there own shock line. Control Rods though is good start to help with Caster adjustments.

OEM shocks by Sachs

I have The KW/Reiger on my Grenadier
John form Owl has the King/Eibach combo
The third (newest one) Owl Grenadier has Eibach and a different shock manufacturer that we are testing some different configurations on.
We are trying to get some company three way comparison testing done in Moab prior to the Grenadier event there

Would you mind giving a review @owl (Owl Outdoor) of the three combos?
I am very interested in your three way comparison as I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my truck.

I especially care for the review of on highway as well as off-road behavior. Many just focus on the off-road but I think highway manners matter greatly too.

We drive customized radflos for many, many, many years in our 110. And we love them. Technically they belong to the ones which offer the most different and granular setups due to the way the piston is designed and the amount of shims available.

They also proofed to cope with heavy bumpy washboard tracks, temperature not getting higher as 70 degrees C (with reservoir) at speeds of 70 up to 90 km/h. We saw Konis fail there.

I only can recommend radflo.

I actually want to replace my even older customized Fox shocks in my 90ty with radflos, but unfortunately my suspension Guru just quit, so I'm a little bit lost in that perspective.

I contacted Fournales after reading Dok's posts was very keen to do something,

Thank you for your interest in our products.

For 45 years our company has been developing and offering a wide range of combined suspension-shock absorbers oleopneumatic (motorcycle, car, light aviation, industry etc.).

Our "suspension-shock absorber" handsets are mounted in place of the original shock absorbers. Their operation is oleopneumatic, that is to say that to the damping function is added an additional pneumatic spring function which can be modulated at will by the user.

By adjusting the pressure you can change the attitude (attitude: height of the vehicle resting on its wheels).

The original springs are preserved; however, the elevation provided by the pneumatic spring provides comfort, stability, motive power and, in principle, the impossibility of following in compression.

This year we developed the combined suspension-shock absorbers for "Grenadier Ineos.". We have not developed the steering damper.

For the moment we have equipped a single Grenadier in France whose mission is to validate the performance and characteristics of the product.

So if a Grenadier is equipped in the USA with a product that looks like ours, it is not of our Fournalés Suspension brand.

This is not the first time that people without experience or authentic know-how have tried to copy our products.

To attract customers they implement a noisy communication that can convince an uninformed clientele.

The Fournalés Suspension product that will be marketed in 2025 will be identical to the one that currently performs an endurance and performance test under real conditions.

For me 2025?? could be January or December, may have to take a look for the Next Grenadier, as Im looking for now have ordered a full set of kings inc steering stabiliser only time will tell if I made the right decision!

It is commonly thought that Bilstein is the supplier of the OEM shocks. They are actually made by Sachs which is a division of ZF which supplies the transmission. Bilstein does supply the steering damper.
