"....everything has gone soft" - summed up perfectly on many levels.

An excellent review that is on point for most people. Doesn't under/overstate things and hits all the relevant points. They are vehicle focused, but I think you have to bring up Sir Jim to explain why this thing even exists.

Very knowledgeable presenter but is that a man or a woman? I'm not trying to be offensive but I honestly can't tell.
Google Elle Alder.
Does that really matter? I think this is a great review. _Much_ better than most of the other stuff on our subject on YT ...

The biography listed on driving.ca does not make mention of any pronouns.
Regardless - the content was spot on.

I really enjoyed this review - the host is very knowledgeable and seems to know their stuff. YT comment section seems to have attracted the usual bigoted w*****s as usual. Tiresome.

Despite the fact she has a deeper than expected voice,..................... and occasionally squashes her balls on the seat...... it was a pretty good and knowledgeable review.

No matter, he did one of the better reviews but I did laugh that he thinks it has an "old school" 90's vibe. I guess old school to me would be from the 60's.
While a 1990s car would be relatively a classic to them, it technically is older than 25 years. I think the analysis isn’t far off, considering that the Grenadier has a pretty good slug of tech in it. While, I think we all would love the concept of a very simple non-electronics driven vehicle, I’m not sure I wanna go back to the days of crappy carburetors and trying to get over mountain passes.

I think it has a good balance of tech.
Early Sir Jim interview he said he was disappointed by the amount they had to include.
He said they went with minimum they needed to get it to road legal.
Back then ADAS wasn't a part of it and thankfully mine doesn't have it.

The interesting thing to me is that they drew the line at a garage door opener. My sneaking suspicion is they ran out of places to put a big bad button or really three for a modern one and so they just punted.

Different frequencies used in different countries.
Lots of countries don't have electric or remote garage doors.
So it would maybe suit some people in the USA but globally not so much

They are also extremely easy to hack and use to break into peoples homes.
