I know I have probably pissed you off by now, I assure you that is not my intent. What I would do if I was in your shoes is spend the money now to fix your problems so you can go back to enjoying your trip. Fight about reimbursements later. Its not worth missing out on your adventure and incurring additional stress and expenses putting everything on hold to fight that battle now.
