So the big day is arriving tomorrow when fly out to CapeTown to collect "Glen" the Gren who has been sailing down there since October and I can't wait to see him.
I will then see friends along the coast and then head North to the West Side of the Krueger for some time before driving into Botswana for a month and the Namibia driving far far North and the back down the coast, back into SA and then heading back to CapeTown before Glen is found on another ship coming home.
I am really looking forward to doing this trip totally on my own in my roof tent,,,if you see me along the way...beep !

Nearly a week ago on the long gravel roads in Namibia my Grenadier broke down after the small radiator became lose, later models have this part fitted with brackets so it can't move about. Long story short, I was stranded for hours with 4 police forces looking for me after I had to use my satellite device to get help, then endured a 15.5 hour journey on a pick up truck to Windhoek where Ineos are now fixing it. I have been put up in a hotel and was told "not to worry and all will be sorted"
....now I'm being told that I have to claim back expenses from Ineos in the UK !!! I don't have credit cards and think Ineos South Africa/Namibia should liaise with Ineos in the UK and sort this between themselves, it is not for the customer to do !!! Ineos..your vehicle had this known fault in earlier models as you've put brackets on the later models, your vehicle let me down, stranded and in fear for my life, DO NOT try to get money out of
me esp when I don't have it to spend. Your vehicle was "Built for purpose" supposedly and it's let me down.
