As a journalist in the motoring industry we get to test new vehicles all the time. We drive the newest of the new cars in amazing settings. But what doesn’t happen often is driving a brand-new vehicle from a brand-new brand. So, when we received the invitation to the global launch of the new INEOS Grenadier it was something we were really excited about.

Hi . dear @painter .. perhaps 3 wiper blades .. seen also 4 on some vehicles.
I remember however on my MB W210 only one central blade did the job also and noone complained.


Btw could we stick to English as a common language..

On my w201, a single wiper was all that was needed. It moved oval, which was achieved by a camshaft-like concept where the wiper arm was guided by a roller that followed a curved linkage arranged around the wiper joint.

The coverage was perfect.

PS: didn't see @klarie's posting. Exactly what he shows.

BTW: this mechanic didn't ever make any problems and lasted for 400'000 km, then I sold the car.

It is in German because you changed the preferences for you to German. The content stays in English as the average user did not change its mother language with your preferences setup.

@painter apologize for being to intrusive.. I ve got not the slightest intent to moderate. But @Stu_Barnes as the owner of this forum has a house rule for worldwide topics to be in English language. This is the reason for requesting English here.. Also I was aware Canada has English and French as official language.. I was wondering if German was added..

Off topic but,

There is a German setting in the languages section of the forum preferences. Google picks up on this it seems.

For written language, you'll probably get more responses if you post in English, or if you wish to use another language please use deepl or another translation program to ad the English translation. Language recommendations are discussed here

Works well until a birdstrike. Then you wish you had a spare blade.
3 blades reminds me of old e type Jags. Looks as weird as a 3 legged dog!

As I posted, when directed from a Google search ("Grenadier forum") I landed on a German format page.

I was not auto logged in.

I had not changed my preference (my truth , YMMV)

The forum software defaulted to German when the new language pack was installed. That’s why you were directed to the German format, and Google picked up on it.

Default is back to English now. But if anyone wants German then they can select it in their preferences

Doesn't help much if on the wrong side.

If you mean the screen cracked , punch it out.
If you need to swap the blades , all good in conventional cars.
If you get on the wrong side of the bird , if it's a vulture or eagle...
