Discounted Club Insurance With Adrian Flux Insurance.

Hi everyone.

My name is Nick and I am the Owners Club Liaison for Adrian Flux Insurance.

I am proud to announce that we have recently teamed up with theINEOSforum and Global Grenadiers to offer its members discounted insurance policies.

Adrian Flux are celebrating 50 years as the UK’s leading specialist motor intermediary and it is my role to build relationships with our affiliated clubs and to be a point of contact for any of your insurance needs.

We understand that when it comes to the Grenadier it is difficult to obtain the right insurance policy for you, luckily as a specialist insurer we have extremely competitive markets for the Grenadier and on top of this we would also like to offer up to 15% discount to all forum members.

We can tailor our quotes to suit the individual providing benefits such as Agreed Valuation, Extended European cover, Free Legal Cover and Like for Like cover on your modifications!

To make the experience more stress free for our partners we also have a dedicated club team which have a wealth of knowledge and always on hand to assist you.

To obtain your quotation please use the dedicated club line number of 0800 198 9988.

Alternatively, you can private message me here in the forums and I will be happy to help.

Many thanks

Nick

Wondering what the latest is on insurance in the UK (October 2023)? I’m having trouble finding anything for my Fieldmaster under £1,700, with the exception of NFU, who come in under £1,000 including NCB protection. However, they are insisting on a Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser or they ‘may not pay out in the event of theft loss’. Much as I like and trust NFU, this basically means I wouldn’t be insured for theft unless I fit a third party immobiliser in place of the factory fitted one, which seems bonkers.

I am retired, with a clean license, full NCB, and no red flags, so it’s a mystery to me why some insurers are loading the premiums like this. Anyone have suggestions? I’ve tried Adrian Flux, SAGA and a local broker we’ve used many times (they proposed LV at £1,700). Waiting on AIB and Novo, but not holding my breath!

Hi Carefant
Hopefully, reading through the insurance threads as found on here, from the beginning should provide some guidance. I am with LV at a third of the price you were quoted. Churchill van insurance also seems to be attractive. People have had good results with local branches of NFU. Admiral and Direct line have also proved competitive for some.
The worst by far has to be Adrian Flux. They really don’t seem to want any business from Grenadier owners. I say this as an AF customer for both Motorcycles and Land Rovers. Not sure why they don’t want to quote competitively on the Grenadier when they purport to be the insurer of choice.

Thanks. Bizarre, as I have an almost identical profile to you, including living in the SW, and the value I gave for the Grenny, yet Churchill online declined to quote me! I’ve had an acceptable quote from Admiral, and my local NFU office is speaking to their underwriter to see if their insistence on Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser can be waived. Judging by the posts of others on this Forum, and what my dealership tells me, NFU must have insured other Grenadiers. Am I the only one who has been asked about Thatcham? I’m starting to feel a bit picked on 🤪.

That would be a first. Haven’t seen one good quote from you guys so far. And I don’t think I am being biased as I do happen to be a current customer of yours, but not with my Grenadier.

@Nick@Adrian Flux Do you require a Thatcham Approved Cat 2 immobiliser fitting?

lnsurance is a nightmare at the moment.

Adrian Flux were always competitive with my old Defender, and they were one of the few that would do Agreed Value.

NFU were twice the price (of AF)

Agree with you there Lightening. AF insured my heavily modified Defender for several years and still cover my motorcycle. On the Grenadier front, it is like they don’t actually want our business.
