First mock up, the back needs to drop to sit under the volume knobs etc, and the front will need to drop and make more of an angle to allow room for electrical connections. But I think the concept will work. Will do a trial 3D print once I have the angles and heights right.

What is the end port for? Obviously not a phone jack or Ethernet port.
UHF, the body of the UHF will be mounted under the dash, either under the steering wheel or glove box. Then attached to that jack and the speaker and controls are all in the mic.

Oh mark II has to be much more of an angle to allow room for connectors and so as not to foul volume knob etc. Will be printed in dark greay metallic look plastic

Nice setup.
Where do you get + from? Do you even plan to connect ign+ to the power outlets? If yes, where do you get ign+ from?

That looks pretty damm good. Well done! I look forward to seeing the final install and, if willing to share, the printer file so I can get my son to print one up.
Cheers

First test print. Top uncovered for now to see where everything fits. It still needs angles and dimensions fettling a bit, not quite there but making progress.

Make sure you keep the design data so you fill the orders when they come. I reckon I’m in. 😉
Will see if my son wants to make a few $ by printing and selling some. If not I will just post his CAD file somewhere and people can print thier own or get their own printed

Sharing the STL file would be epic!
