Hey everyone. I was looking at various members pictures of their side flood lights and it appeared that most people had a rack. The rack really hid how much the light pushed out from the vehicle. Many others utilized bar mounts. I ordered up several of the popular bar mounts but was unhappy with how they turned out. Some were poor quality, others were too high or had the lights stick out too far. I wanted something sleeker that would be less apt to get caught up on crap or make noise.

Long story short, I got some 75mm bolts, 3/4" long 1/4" black anodized aluminum spacers from Amazon and a little filing on the light bracket. Worked great. Just wanted to share my $5 mount with others to plant a seed for options.

Nicely done @PDX_Keith. Very similar result to the ARB Base Rack lights I am running. Posted here.

These days there are no genuine ideas! Ha. Just when you think you're the first one you find out hundreds have walked this path. Either way, it works well. Those lights look great!
It's a tidy spot tucked in out of the way. Might be an issue if we ever go to a Leitner style rack.
Oh, it wasn't my idea either. My Ineos agent took their own Grenadier to the local ARB shop and asked for some lights. That's what came back and I copied them 😁
