I didn't read this one on the door latch thread.

So, I go lower the windows before pulling out, and the Drivers window stops 2" before bottom. Hm.. I do the up and down tinker with it, and it wont go all the way down.

I get to my destination, I leave the windows down and get out, when I return I notice the door isn't latched? So I get in, pull it closed, and it just bounces. No latching. Well, now that's a pickle. I wind it up and it latches. I wind it down while unlocked, and it unlatches the door at the 2" mark. Lather, rinse and repeat. Lock the door, and it remains closed, so I drive home.

I get home and start to fiddle and see if anything changes while holding the inner door release and raise/lower windows etc. Maybe something is sticking. Nope, Nothing changes. Then I try outside and the button and it feels gravely. The button will open the door if closed unlocked, but once locked, it wont unlock and the only way to open it is to reach in.

My conclusion is "something" fell apart and is binding up, likely the internal mechanism for the door lock assembly.

This does not seem like a wd40 fixaroo.

I tossed the the dice.

Snake eyes. Thanks for sharing, sounds like you will need to visit your dealer and have them take a look.
