Vss wire colour

Guessing you are chasing the vehicle speed sensor wire. What are you using the VSS signal for?
Two places vehicle speed would come from would be the transmission from an internal OSS (VSS) and directly sent to the ZF 8HP (Pin C2) TCM within the transmission on the mechatronic unit or the wheel speed sensors to ABS/Traction ECU. Both would be sent to the dash and other ECUs by a CAN signal.
