Largest Functional Tire Without Mods

Just finally pulled the trigger on 285/70r/17 bfg + h&r spacers! No lift no cutting was required.

Car def feels heavier, but somehow they’re quieter and feel smoother on the road than my oem Bridgestones.

No rubbing whatsoever!

Hello
Does anyone use bf 285/70-17 with Dakar zero 8 x 17 ET45mm rims.
I'm afraid that they would look out of the fenders or hinder full turning.
I currently have 255/70-18 and don't want smaller ones. I would like a set of MT.

Best Regards Filip

BFG KO3 285/70/R17 on 17x8 ET 40 wheels. No rubbing and plenty more room to go 295 or larger, but I am happy with this look, performance and it barely fits in the garage as is. No lift. No rub at full lock. Does not extend past fender flares.
