Can we get a pic from further back? I'm wondering how far outside the "side wall" does the mini stick out after installation. Anything past the roof gutter would be no bueno for me since I want to use it in motion, and this looks way past it.
We finally got our Mini back! Here’s a photo that shows it exactly.

How does the side mount go for lateral movement?

I got my rear ladder mount for hi-lift jacks.
Really easy to install (i put in a few drops of vibra-tite before sealing it up.

The thread for the mount to the hi-lift is M8 course. I used a bolt, put some 1 1/4 inch rubber washers between the mount and the jack, a flat washer and a lock washer before i tightened it up. When the jack is attached its super solid. When its only one attachement point, it rotates a bit. But overall i'm very happy with the mount. Good purchase and i think its very robust.

You can see here that i used too long screws. The hardware store was out of the size i wanted (35mm long) and i had to use M8 x 45mm.

Would you mind if we posted your photos on our social media? :). Thanks!

For all reading this thread,

I've been out all day yesterday in the northern Nevada mountains on supremely rocky roads shaking in the car for 8 hours. Fun times :)

The ladder mount is rock solid and held my hi lift jack like it's nothing. No looseness, no nothing. No rattle from the rear. I put a Amazon neoprene cover on the lift mechanism to protect it a bit against gravel and dirt.

Highly recommended. Works well.

Big thanks to Overland of America for the post using @DVA Mechanics Rear Ladder Mount for their LP Tank installation. That is a beautiful build!

We are mounting up a 48" Hi-Lift tomorrow! Thanks for the inspiration and we'll post pics on how easy it is to do. We might even package up the clamps and gaskets to make it easy.
